Townes was born with Ventricular Septal Defect, Atrial Septal Defect, Patent Foramen Ovale, Patent Ductus Arteriosus, Down Syndrome, and Pulmonary Hypertension. Due to her pulmonary hypertension, Townes had to have an unexpected open heart surgery to close the holes in her heart in early January 2024.. The foundation assisted with lodging, gas, and meals.
