Milana was born on August 10th and was diagnosed with a complex congenital heart defect, truncus arteriosus, shortly after birth, a nurse heard a murmur. During the echo, it was found that the baby is missing a valve and an outflow artery known as Truncus Arteriosus. Mom and baby were immediately life flighted to  Texas Children's Hospital. Milana had open heart surgery just 9 days later on August 19th. Both Davionne and Milana were able to come back to SWLA on September 9th. Milana is now growing fast and enjoying time with her big sister.
